Seymour’s Gin is a concept brand developed for a JDO brief, combining seaweed-infused gin with a quirky, memorable identity. At the heart of the brand is Seymour, a fictional seaweed mascot who brings a playful and curious tone to the product. The design blends modern fun with vintage influences, giving the brand a distinctive yet approachable character.
Logo and Brand Identity
The logo centres around Seymour, reflecting the brand's lighthearted nature and coastal inspiration. A serif typeface and muted colour palette, inspired by vintage materials such as old newspapers, gives it a classic yet fresh feel.
Label Design
The label design features a mix of rustic textures and simple typography, with colours that nod to the seaweed theme. The use of an old gin bottle shape, with its seaweed-like green tint, adds a subtle connection to the product’s coastal inspiration.
Social Media and Advertising
"See More with Seymour’s" is the brand’s tagline, designed to spark curiosity and invite discovery. The playful tone carries through all channels, creating a consistent and engaging presence both online and in print.
